I was going to do a Super Bowl Wrap-up, but I just can't. I actively tried to stay away from any pre-game or post-game analysis, but it was everywhere. On TVs in the gym, on car radios, news shows - everywhere. CBS started their coverage seven hours before the game started.
So I am going to touch on just a couple items and that's all. Let's start with my prediction of KC-27, SF-17. The actual score was KC-25, SF-22. I had the right team and I was off by a total of seven points. Pretty good. By the way, I looked up the most common score in all of NFL history. Its 20-17. This Super Bowl was actually very close to that considering it was 19-19 at the end of regulation.
One more thought - I know some don't care for former Cowboys quarterback, now announcer, Tony Romo, but I really like him. It's amazing how he can forecast what will happen right before the snap by seeing where the defense lines up. Probably all the really successful quarterbacks can do that. The Ravens' QB made news a while ago because they wrote into his contract that he has to study a certain number of hours before games. He didn't think he needed to, I guess because he thinks he already knows it all. Maybe that's why the Ravens make the playoffs, but don't advance very far.
Finally, next year's Super Bowl: Minnesota over Buffalo, 20-17.
