I know I got a little happy with all the pictures, but even that is edited down for the dozens of pictures I took.

Star Cars
In a few weeks I think I'll be able to venture out and see a few things. It has been cold and snowy here. People that have lived in Kentucky their whole lives say they've never seen a winter like this one. Just since January first, we've had 14 days of school cancelled and I think 4 days that had to start late. Many of the days have been below zero. Just a little cold for my taste. Luckily Kentuckians have UK basketball to look forward to. And yesterday there was 10 second spot on TV announcing it's 84 days until the Kentucky Derby.
Anyway, since I haven't gone anyplace much for weeks, let me tell you where I've been before the winter set in. Gatlinburg is as touristy a place as there is. It's got Dolly Parton's park, Dollywood, a bunch of novelty shop, dinner theater places, for some reason, millions of miniature golf courses, and even more odd, a billion pancake places. For the most part I didn't spend a lot of money there. Although there was a museum called Star Cars that had a bunch of cars from TV shows and movies. That was really cool. It cost about $15 and you just go in and walk around and look at the cars. They had the Ghostbusters car, the TV Batmobile, the movie Batmobile, the orange Dukes of Hazzard car, etc, etc. It was fun. Most of Gatlinburg was kind of fun to walk through, but not really my cup of tea. Star Cars was great, though.
I know I got a little happy with all the pictures, but even that is edited down for the dozens of pictures I took.
