Nashville

Nashville is my last stop on my weeklong tour. I had to stretch it to a week in order to get it to coincide with my Elton concert at the end of the week. The concert is at 8:00 so we killed the day in Nashville. I've been here three times before, but there is still plenty of stuff to do. Just walking up and down the main street is fun. There are a lot of places to just walk in and hear live music or look in souvenir shops. I went through the Nashville State Museum. It had a bench Davy Crockett had built. How cool is that? There was a sign asking  people to stay off. I did, but it was a major temptation not to curl up on it.

We went through the Grand Ole Opry building. There was a cost - of course. Even though I'm not a huge country music fan, it was fun seeing it. It was self guided. There were quite a few displays of singers' outfits - Johnny Cash, Minnie Pearl, etc.

Next blog you can probably expect an in-depth report on the concert.
