Super Bowl Reflections

Yayyy Baltimore!! Way to go Ravens!!!!

I really wasn't all that into the Super Bowl. Like every year, I and any of my favorite teams were watching from our respective homes. As part of the new policy I adopted about a year ago, last night I rooted for whoever was in the lead. That was Baltimore for the most part, but in that final minute I was ready to audible to the 49ers if need be.

My front runner philosophy is working great for me. There are probably ethical issues here that could be explored, but I chose not to. At the end of the game I was happy and had felt real good about myself. In the past, the team I would pull for in the Super Bowl has had a winning percentage well under 50%. Not any more. My self-esteem is sky high. I'm a winner, baby!!!

I would have had a hard time really getting behind either team anyway. I hate Ray Lewis and I didn't like the SF quarterback, Kkrnstkyttrmn (sp?). One is a pompous criminal and the other has tattoos. So, pretty much a tie for me. The announcers did a nice job. A few weeks ago I was concerned about the possibility that the Harbaugh brothers could be coaching against each other. No, God, don't let that happen. There will be no end to the media falling all over themselves with stories about that. Well it happened, and even with the limited media I get - (no newspaper, no TV, and no internet at my house and turtle-speed internet, elsewhere) I still heard about it a bunch this last two weeks. Thank goodness its over.

And did I say, no TV at my house? I watched the Super Bowl at another place in the shire, but as of now, we have Dish TV. This is a big upgrade for me. Hello, 20th century.
