Kentucky

I decided to pull myself away from the Italy/Croatia water polo match to update my blog. I am in Kentucky now. I've actually been here for over a week, but I hadn't blogged that, because I had to keep my travelogue going in chronological order. So anyway, I'm alive and well. When I go into some new thing in my life I usually go in with a range of ideas in my head of how it will turn out. On the low end, my worst case scenario, I foresaw being overcome by humidity, having to live outdoors, death by bear, etc. I'm happy to announce that, so far, things are much closer to my high end expectations than the low end ones. I'll update you on all the new adventures as the time goes by.

Incidently, I generally have communication issues, but they are greater now. We don't get cell phone service here, so we are going to end our service, but I still have my blog and two e-mail accounts. You can reach me with either of those - jim6208@hotmail.com and jim6208@gmail.com. I got the g-mail address only because they said I had to have that to start my blog a year ago. I never really check that, but I'll check both religiously now. There is a way I guess you can respond directly on the blog, but I've been told people have trouble with doing that, so you can still give that a try if you want or just directly e-mail me. I've been told I could do the Facebook, but I don't really understand it. Also, there is something about people responding with "like" or "dislike"? My already abysmally low self-esteem just couldn't handle that. I already know I'm not well liked. I don't need people letting my know electronically. You know the guy in Klamath Falls that smiles and waves to everyone as they drive by? When I drive by, he flips me off. So, I already know where I stand. The Facebook would be a mistake.
