NFL Comebacks

I watched a lot of football this weekend. There were six playoff games. I recorded them all, so I spent a total of like 8 hours watching them. That was still a lot of time, though. Most were relatively close. If someone got a big lead, though, I might have quit watching if I hadn't recorded it. I wondered if they have the biggest comebacks listed. They do.

1. 1993 Bills over Houston. The Bills were behind by 32 points, yet won. Pretty impressive.

Tie for 2nd. Indianapolis over Kansas City - 28 points.

Tie for 2nd. In 1980, Joe Montana, San Francisco came from 28 back to beat Manning. Not Peyton or Eli, but their dad, Archie.

Tie for 4th. 1997, Bills over the Colts by 25. Interesting, because the final score was by the Colts bringing them within two. They tried for a two point conversion but missed it. Heartbreak.

Tie for 4th - New England and tom Brady over Atlanta by 25. Extra special because it was in a Super Bowl.

Tie for 4th - St Louis over Tampa Bay by 25. Orchestrated by Neil Lomax, maybe the only sports star out of Portland State.

A whopping 15 way tie for 7th place at a 24 point comeback. One in particular was interesting as the winner won by 11 points. Behind 24-0, then end up winning 24-35.
