So lets rank, according to me, the best Christmas songs of all-time. And of course that means I will soon have to rank those at the bottom. I know I couldn't think of them all, so I went on line and saw a list of Christmas songs to jog my memory.
10. Mary Do You Know - Has a nice soothing melody. And I like songs that are happy and sad at the same time.
9. I'll be Home for Christmas - I always think of when they did it on Saturday Night Live as "I'll be Cloned for Christmas"
8. I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day - At least when Nat King Cole does it, which now that I think about it, is the only person I've heard do it.
7. Away in a Manger - Always gets crowded out by the similar, but overrated, Silent night.
6. All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth - The secret to happiness is lowered expectations.
5. There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays - At least when The Carpenters do it.
4. Feliz Navidad - It taught me pretty much the only Spanish I know. And its fun.
3. White Christmas - Just because I love Bing.
2. The First Noel - The person I most associate with this is Cher. Not sure why. She did it really nicely.
1. Step Into Christmas - Elton John. Yes best Christmas song ever. Maybe best ever period.
