But. Let me make my case one last time
- He's played on great teams. That is a real advantage to your popularity. And maybe a lot of that is due to his coach. In the last game he had some receivers so wide open that I could have competed passes to them. That was the receivers and coaches doing that so Tom could get the completions in the first place.
- OK, he's won a bunch of Super Bowls. But again, he didn't win them by himself. How many would he have won if he had played all those years with the Cleveland Browns?
- His Super Bowl wins haven't been that impressive. Interestingly, they've all been within a single touchdown. His record is 5 wins and 2 losses. Fine, but his wins have been by 3,3,3,4, and 6 points. Last year's win was a miracle and they beat the Seahawks because of a dumb Seattle play in the final minute. Instead of 5-2, Tom could easily be 3-4 or worse.
- Drew Brees is as good or better. This season Brees beat Brady in pass completion percentage, 72% to 66%; yards per attempt 8.1 to 7.9; and overall rating, 103.9 to 102.8. But Tom will win in MVP votes.
- Lifetime - Brees has more passing yards, touchdowns, and completions and he is a year younger.
- Brees vs Brady. Category: Best spouse

Once again, edge to Brees - If for no other reason than the goofy looking suit Tom has on.
But like I said at the outset, I'm giving up. All hail Tom Brady. Greatest ever.
