Warner Brothers

I think there are several tours of studios - Sony, Paramount, Warner Brothers. The only one I've been on is Warner Brothers. So, I can't speak to the others, but the Warner Brothers tour is great. Expensive, but worth it.

You don't get to see everything, but it has a lot of cool stuff. You are taken around on a tram with times to get out and walk. They showed a number of sets from Dirty Little Liars. I've never seen that show, so that wasn't so exciting for me.

The Gilmore Girls which, I have now seen every episode of, still pretty much exists. Lorelae's House, Luke's diner, the town square, the gazebo, the dancing studio - it's all still there. They just reuse it for other shows. The cafe shown in La la land is in the same town square.

If they aren't currently filming, you get to see the set for the Big Bang Theory. That was fun. With cameras in the way and so many different (fake) rooms to film in, the studio audience doesn't get a very good view, I don't think. They have the elevator lobby, Leonard and Sheldon's apartment, and Penny's apartment. There are other stripped down sets that they use for other rooms.

Plenty of other cool things - a room with a bunch of batmobiles and other cars. A room with Harry Potter costumes and assorted props. Plenty of other props are around - President Bartlett's desk from The West Wing, Oscar's, the set from Friends, and from Two and a Half Men.

Anyway, lots of fun. Maybe I'll do the other tours on other trips.
