To keep track, I have to do it by cities or by who I've been with at the concert. The city count is Portland - 4 (one was a co-concert with Billy Joel. Still counts as a full.) One in Yakima (Yes, Yakima. I was surprised, myself.) Two in Reno. One in Nashville. So Eugene, Oregon is number nine. This one is definitely it for me. Although nine is an odd number. Ten would be somehow much more satisfying to end with. If the rock and roll gods deem it to be so, it will happen, but I'm not got to travel any huge distance.
I think I have pretty good seats. They are kind of behind the stage, but close by. It's $70. Not bad. You can spend a lot more, but why do that? Mostly I just like to sit back and listen. There isn't a lot of other things to do. He just sits there at the piano pretty much the whole time. He'll stand up between songs and take a bow or something, but there isn't a lot of movement going on. The audience is pretty much required to sing along on the la la la la la part of Crocodile Rock, but that's pretty much it.Don't worry, a full report will be coming up in a few days.
