Mt. Airy (Mayberry) has an Andy Griffith Museum. Its not enormous, but has a lot of cool stuff. It has one of Andy's Matlock suits and and his sheriff's uniform. It has Barney's gray dressy suit and Otis' outfit. There are a bunch of articles and pictures on the walls and artifacts from the show. There was a sign that said no photography. I felt guilty as a took the pictures. Thank goodness Gomer wasn't there to make a citizen's arrest. Out front there is a statue called Andy and Opie that was donated by TV Land. I now think of it as Andy, Opie, and Jim.
I see the Ducks lost last night. Even a continent away, I feel your pain.
