Wal-Mart and Karen

Last night, or more correctly this morning, was my annual Christmas shopping trip to Wal-Mart. I'm in charge of all stocking stuffers except for my own. I got there a little after midnight and was home at 1:50. There are a bunch of workers there restocking stuff. They reminded me of elves. I'm not making fun of them. Who am I to talk. I'm at Wal-Mart at 1:00 a.m. I only remember seeing one other actual shopper when I was there. Wal-Mart has a lot of good stocking stuffers. Quite a few things for a dollar or two. I'm hoping the fun of these gifts will be in the opening of them. I don't see the purchases I made bringing a lot of long-term joy to anyone. By the way, if you happen to be reading this and are under 10 years old, what I meant to say is that I went to Wal-Mart in the middle of the night to grocery shop. It is Santa, of course, that takes care of all the stocking gifts.

I've listened to my Karen Carpenter CD several times the last few days. I made it myself. The Carpenters made two Christmas CD's, but each of them have a bunch of Richard playing the piano. I combined them to make one CD. Sorry Rich, but your show-offy piano pieces didn't make the cut. Its my favorite Christmas CD. By the way, Karen is the best singer ever. Second best Christmas CD is my Hillary Duff CD. Yeah, go ahead and scoff all you want, but it's awesome.
