A few weeks ago I mentioned a job I think I would be good at - A top 10 list writer for David Letterman. Anyway a couple of other opportunities have opened up. Andy Rooney's spot on "60 Minutes" and Regis Philbin's spot on what could become "Live with Jim and Kelly". The time for each is good. Andy's is about three minutes a week. Regis' day is done by 10:00 a.m.)
I'm pretty sure I could handle Andy's spot (What's the deal with vacuum cleaners, anyway. If there can't be sound in a vacuum, why do they make so darn much noise, etc, etc.) It would be like a video version of my blog.
The Regis spot would be good, too. I think Kelly and I would get along fine. I would have to act interested in talking with people I really don't care about, but I do that sometimes now, so no big deal.
I see Andy, Regis, and me as being somewhat similar anyway. We all have somewhat negative opinions on a few things, but no one really takes us seriously.
