People often ask me, Jim what are your favorite and least favorite things in various random categories? Not really, but let me take this opportunity to share a few of my personal highs and lows.
Funniest person - Brian Regan. I heard him on a CD for the first time while driving on I-5. I almost had to pull over because I was laughing so hard.
Unfunniest person - Pauly Shore. Maybe this is unfair. The only thing I have to go by is the first one-third of "Bio-dome", which incidently wins in the least funny movie category. I think its the only movie I left in the middle of. It was advertised as a comedy, but seemed more like a poorly acted drama.
Best cereal - Cocoa Krispies. I've always loved that cereal. Don't confuse this with Cocoa Puffs, which is way down the list. I take personal offense when people confuse the two.
Worst cereal - I don't know if they even make this anymore, but I bought and actually tasted Peanut Butter Captain Crunch. Use your imagination on what that would taste like. It tastes worse than whatever you're imagining.
Best Candy - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Worst Candy - Chicko Sticks. This is another I'm not sure they still make. "What flavor would kids like in their candy? Let's try chicken."
Best Christmas Song - Elton John's "Step into Christmas"
Worst Christmas Song - Anyone doing "Little Drummer Boy". Where do I begin? What kind of lyrics are Pah rum pah pum pum? Drums don't sound like that. I have doubts that is historically accurate, anyway. They had drummer boys in the Civil War, not 2,000 years ago. If that did happen, then people seem to have had odd ideas about appropriate baby gifts back then. "What would the newborn baby Jesus like? How about a drum cadence and some myrrh?
