Hershey's

So, here is the final day of my back east trip. Hershey Pennsylvania might qualify as one of those places that is nice to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. Its tough to imagine getting tired of chocolate, but if you could, this would be the place.

I was here once. They still have the street lights in the shape of chocolate kisses, but the town doesn't seem to reek of chocolate like it once did. They do have a new Disneyland-like place. Its huge. It seemed like it was 90% gift shop, but that still left a lot of chocolate related activities. I also got to see the biggest candy bar I've ever seen. This place is not for everyone, but I had a decent amount of fun. There was a group of Amish people there. That was fun. I would have paid just for that. I forgot about the fact that I was in Pennsylvania until I saw them.

Speaking of fun, nearby was the James Buchanan home and grave. He had a nice house. The tour was led by someone that knew his stuff. That might be because it seemed like he was alive during the Buchanan Administration. Its possible.

Well, that is the end of my six day back east trip. Thanks for coming along.
