Drug Policy

In my ongoing attempt to make the world a better place, let me address some of the issues of the day.
First, let me take on the issue of the legalization of marijuana. In fact, for any drugs. In a major reversal of previous feelings, I am now all in favor of it. Use all you want. For those of us pursuing goals and trying to make things better, it just makes it easier to pass you on the ladder to success. While you lay on the couch, smoking the pot, the rest of us will be getting stuff done. For those of you that really need it for medical reasons, more power to you. For the other 99% that say they need it for medical reasons, go right ahead and use it. You can stop lying about it now.

By the way, there are some guidelines for my new do whatever you want policy. The basic guideline is: When you get yourself into trouble, don't be a crybaby and expect us to bail you out.

- Use all you want, but you don't get to cut in front of anybody at the emergency room when you hurt yourself. No matter who comes in, you are always stat last in line.

- Unemployment no longer pays you because you can't get or keep a job.

- Insurance doesn't pay you when you decide you're addicted and need help. You have to pay for that yourself. Oh, I forgot - you don't have a job.

- When you get arrested, no saying, "It's not my fault, I was high." You don't get cut judicial slack. In fact, the penalties double. So if your using, better stay on your couch where you won't get in trouble.

In the words of Spider-Man, With great power comes great responsibility.
