Flying Turkeys

So, I was driving into Pineville today. And two turkeys fly in front of my car. Seriously. And then, you know how sometimes a bird will fly along side a car at the same speed? Out my window a turkey is flying along side my car. It was weird and cool all at once. We stayed together for quite a distance. It was a great experience.

I don't really remember how the episode went, but it reminds me of the WKRP in Cincinnati episode where Les Nessman did some kind of promotion where he launched a bunch of turkeys from a helicopter. I just remember it had terrible, but hilarious, results. Speaking of that, it is great driving into Cincinnati from the south. You are driving on the interstate through rolling hills, then you go around a turn and big ole Cincinnati is there right in front of you. At it looks just like the intro to the WKRP show.

Anyway, I made it into Pineville. It has a city hall in the middle of town that reminds me of the city hall on the Simpsons. Maybe lots of towns have those, but I haven't seen one that reminds me of the Simpsons one as the one in Pineville. I realize it may be just me, but I can't see it without thinking of Springfield. The trip to Pineville included visits to Rite Aid and Subway. Trust me, compared to most of my evenings in Beverly, that is a huge event for me now.
