Ducks

Way to go my ducklings. I saw the first half of their bowl game live and the second half on tape. I don't have TV stations to call my own so I have to get creative to watch anything. It clearly should have been Alabama and Oregon in the championship game. In the total season, Oregon's average was winning 50 to 20 and Alabama winning 40 to 10. I looked up the stats, which I don't remember exactly, but that was it, give or take a point. So it would have been a very interesting game. The only time I saw Notre Dame play they eeked out an overtime win against an unranked opponent. Anyway, Oregon ended up number two in the nation. Not bad.

Speaking of no TV, we have technology issues here. My computer is working again after ordering a new battery. Its now at full strength, but still gets made fun of by the other computers. I have to leave my house and go across the quad to get the internet. And there, it is iffy at best. My e-mails get to places in slightly faster time than regular mail. Our school recently got a technology grant, so that will be good in the future. For the present, I have no computer at the school and the internet does a lot of spinning instead of connecting. I have a TV and DVR, but no actual stations. The cable here isn't good, but I could get Dish. If I did that and along with the technology grant, hello 21st Century.

So up town! It reads similar to this neck of the woods....no, more out in the booneys than here. I probably should read more to know more about what it is like in your new world and I will; please at some time let me know your title and more about your school.

Hey, Sandra, good to hear from you. Donna's been teaching computers and English and I've been math. Next year she is going to be the librarian and I'm going to be vice principal. This area does have some similarity to Chiloquin. There is a lot of poverty here, and there is a lot of opportunity for growth at the school, so its been interesting. We're coming back to Oregon for a couple months this summer and then back to Kentucky. Hope you're having a good year.
