Dollywood
I didn't actually go to Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park, but I was in the general area. It's in Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is also nearby. I'm not totally against commercialism, so I don't think I'm being judgemental when I say this is the most commercial place I've ever been. People seemed to be alright with that though, because it was super crowded. There was lots of corny stuff with hillbilly comedians, a Hatfield and McCoy comedy show, lots of magicians, wax museums. I'm talking mile after mile of this stuff. It was like an episode of Hee Haw come to life. And for some reason there were literally hundreds of pancake restaurants. You can walk down the streets and find plenty to do without spending money. The coolest spot for was a car museum. Some of the cars were outside to entice you to pay the admission price to see the rest of them. I was not enticed, although I thought about it. I think a lot of them were from movies I'd never seen, so it wouldn't have been all that cool. I'm assuming most shows use more than one look-a-like car, so these probably aren't the only ones, but it was cool to see them - The Batmobile (my life-long dream car to own), Mark Harmon's car in NCIS (??? whatever, I've never watched it), and Herbie the Love Bug (He's alot more stuck up in person that your would have thought).
