People said it was a bad game. No it wasn't. There wasn't a lot of scoring, but that's fine. It was close the whole way. Was it worse that Super Bowl games that had a lot of scoring, but really lopsided and pretty much over at halftime? I don't think so.
I recorded it and started watching later. I timed it and it took me an hour 55 minutes. That is longer that it usually takes me. That's because I watched the commercials that were supposed to be good. (I didn't think so.) I blasted through halftime. Since we're on halftime, what was the deal with people being upset with Maroon 5 accepting the offer to perform? Its because the NFL is supposedly against Colin Kapernick? Really?
Let's look at this. Kapernick is not a very good quarterback. I looked it up. His lifetime passing percentage is 59.8%. That isn't very good. This past season that would have ranked him 31st out of 34. He hasn't been hired by a team because he isn't good. Colin, go ahead and kneel during the anthem in your living room as you watch the NFL games being played.
And let me get this straight. Another singer was putting down Maroon 5 because she didn't want to sing and was upset someone wouldn't join her protest that was linked with a person who was supposedly banned because of his protest, but is actually banned because he's a bad player. By the way, lets get upset with the Rams and the Patriots and all the advertisers and people at the game and people watching on TV. They probably should not be participating either so we can be in solidarity with Colin.Probably went on a little too long with that rant.
So now only a year till the next Super Bowl. Leading up to that is next year's playoffs, before that, the regular season, before that, the preseason, before that, training camp, before that, the NFL draft, before that, the combine (whatever that is), before that, endless commentary on ESPN on the combine.
