Elton John

Elton John, or as close, personal friends like myself know him, EJ is on a final concert tour. I got a ticket. I thought about not doing that. I have seen him nine times. But I guess that is what put me over the edge. How do I not make it an even ten?

It was $150. Way to much. And then like another $50 in other bogus fees. But I think I would regret it if I didn't. There are a few site I know of that can be used. There are more, but I don't necessarily trust them. Ticketmaster is the most reliable. Their cheapest ticket was for $942!!!! No. Vividseats didn't even have any. I went with Stubhub. They are a little risky I suppose, but I haven't had any trouble with them. About the only things I spend money on are events like EJ and books. There isn't much else that interests me I guess. I lead a sad, sad life.

I also bought tickets to a Trailblazer game. They're not so expensive. Preseason predictions are they'll kind of suck. I think I'm third row from the top. But for $16, I'm ok with that. They're playing the Utah Jazz, who also kind of suck. That's the reason for the cheap prices. When they play a good team like Golden State, the prices go up to like $150 - Elton John prices. The prices are so high because Golden State players are just naturally likable. Just kidding. They've got some jerks on their team. Their tickets are expensive because they're the defender champions. You don't root for a team and hope they win. That's not how America works. You find the winningest team and then start rooting for them. It's ok little Blazers. You're not going to win, but I'm still with you. Plus your tickets are really cheap.
