NFL Season

Probably time for my long awaited predictions for the upcoming NFL Season:

Not really predictions, but four things I'm looking for:

Tom Brady vs Drew Brees

Drew Brees is awesome. Look at their lifetime statistics and they're almost identical. Brady throws fewer interceptions. Otherwise Brees is as good or better in pretty much every category. Brady does lead in people fawning all over him, though. Yes, Brady has won more Super Bowls, but have them trade teams and see how it goes - Brees spends his career with New England and Brady with New Orleans.

Statistically -
Passing percentage: Brees - 66.9, Brady - 63.9
Yards:  Brees - 70,445, Brady - 66,159
Touchdowns:  Tied with each having 488.

I like Brady, but he's gotten too much notoriety for what he has done compared to Brees.

So, this will be fun. I'll do updates as they go through the season.

I'm rooting once again for my boy Marcus Mariotta and his Tennessee Titans.

And I'm rooting for Minnesota. My boy Fran Tarkenton needs to see a Viking Super Bowl win at some point. As I've said every year since forever, I think this is their year.

So, predictions:

Sports Illustrated has Falcons over the Steelers, 27-24. It will almost for sure be wrong. The "experts" seem to know little more than you and I (or maybe you and me). They've had predictions of winners in the past that didn't even make the playoffs.

It may not make good football sense, but lets go with who I want.

Titans over the Vikings in the Superbowl. (The winner being decided by my own coin flip.) So bring it on SI, let's see who does better.
