How about famous people whose autograph I have? There's a topic I've never covered. I don't have all that many, and some of the ones I have a kind of cheating ones.
Real ones -
Steve Prefontaine - A famous distance runner and my former hero. I ran across an infield to get his autograph after a big race. I said, "Good job, Pre." He grunted something and signed my program. Awesome.
Bill Clinton - I heard him speak a couple times. The second time, after his speech, his people collected stuff people wanted signed and took it back to him where he signed them all. At least I think he did. He did get impeached for lying under oath once, so I guess I can't be too sure, but I think he signed it.
Not as real -
George Bush Sr. - I did something once (long story) and someone thought it would be cool to havesomeone famous congratulate me. Somehow they got George to write me a letter. He might not have composed it, but you can tell from the signature it was a fairly old guy that signed it. I'm counting this as "Not as real" because I've never even seen him. I just happen to have his autograph. Still cool though.Chip Kelly - Former U of O coach and coached in the NFL for about five minutes.
John Calipari - University of Kentucky coach. Here he is a famous basketball coach. In Kentucky, he is a god. It was a book he wrote that was a present to me. I'm sure its from when he was signing autographs in a bookstore and this was a surplus one well after the fact. I'm fine with that.
Fran Tarkenton - My all-time hero, even more than Steve Prefontaine. I saw his book on Amazon. Amazon said it was an autographed copy. So I bought it.
Nathaniel Philbrick - An author I liked. Came across it pretty much the same way as the Calipari book. I would like to think books being signed are really worth something, but, even signed, it came off the discount shelf, so I guess not.
Jimmy Carter - I don't just a little too perfect looking. Looks like a stamp. I'll assume its him, but I don't know for sure.
Elton John - Opposite from Jimmy - An indiscernible squiggle. If it didn't have his name printed underneath, you would think someone was trying out a pen to see if it would write.
