Kevin Durant

The NBA Finals were (was?) not all that exciting. Going back to last year, everyone seemed to think it would be Cleveland vs Golden State. It was. Last year it went down to the final seconds. This year it didn't.

Next year it will probably be the same. Not all that exciting.

So that is a problem. Problem number two is Kevin Durant. He has gotten a lot of positive publicity for being on a championship winning team. But so what? He decided to go to a team that had just set a record for most wins in a season. So now he is a champion by turning a winning team into a winning team. So it all turned out like he wanted. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Everyone like to be a winner, so just sign up with a team that is already a winner.

Meanwhile, Lebron's stock has dropped because his team lost. In fact he's lost I think 5 NBA Finals now. But some of those teams he took there stunk.

That's my basketball commentary. The season was kind of anticlimactic. Sportswise, we now have baseball and golf. The excitement just keeps building.
