Brad and Colin

A couple of days ago I say my heroes - Brad and Colin. There are on Whose Line is it Anyway?

They were hilarious, but more than that, it was fascinating to watch them at work. It was like watching a really smart person give a lecture or something. You just think, "How is anybody's mind able to work like that?" They came up with funny things so fast. More impressive that is that they would bring up things that happened like an hour earlier in the show and blend that into the current skit.

For anyone that thinks the TV show was rigged I can assure you it was not. I've thought that myself, because it just seems impossible they could come up with things that quickly. They really are that good. They had people in the audience come up with the ideas for their routines, so they didn't know what was coming. I saw them about a year ago and it is the same basic routines, so they know what kind of thing they are doing, but the routine itself is to be different every time.

Volunteers supplied missing words or guided their motions or did sound effects. All hilarious. I got good seats. Close enough, but not so close that I might get called on to go onstage with them. I didn't want to be onstage and embarrass myself in front of my heroes, although it would have been cool to get to meet Colin, my fave.

Their brainpower could probably be harnessed for curing diseases or finding a path for peace in the middle east, but what they are using them for is way more entertaining.
