Gilmore Update

Probably the most feminine thing I've done is my Gilmore Girls marathon. I can't think that a lot of guys have watched much of it. But I got hooked and hooked hard. It was when they started the four reunion shows. I was kind of trapped in a room where it was on. Then I noticed they had season one for sale at Wal-Mart. I thought, "Lets see what the big deal is with this show."

Oh, its a big deal, alright. I watched that, then I saw on-line the 7 season series was available for $25. What a steal. So I'm into season 5 now. I can work on stuff and kind of watch it at the same time. I make sure I have the closed captioning on because they talk so fast. I can back it up and check out what they said if I need to. Interestingly, they didn't really talk all that fast in the first season. For some reason the really picked up the pace as time went by.

So everyone is in a pretty good place now. Lorelie and Luke are back together. Emily got her come uppance (no idea how you really spell that), and Rory is doing alright at Yale. I'm a little disappointed in some of the choices she's been making lately, but at least she left behind that one jerk she was with - Jess. Logan isn't a lot better, though. Rory's grandparents, Richard and Emily, like him. That is bad sign enough right there. Lorelai doesn't like him. I'm with you, Lorelai.

They should just end the series right here. This is a good spot and I'm pretty sure this goodness is not going to last. At least more episodes means more Kirk. I love Kirk.
