Final Four

I'm living large. I was rooting for Gonzaga, Oregon, and Kentucky. Out of the original 64 teams, Gonzaga and Oregon are definitely a part of the Final Four. Kentucky plays tomorrow. If they win, all my teams will be in the Final Four. Everything is coming up Jim. That would also mean I definitely would have a team in the championship game since Kentucky would play Oregon in the semi-final game.

That would be a tough one to know who to root four, but, it may not even come to that. Of those three I care the least of Gonzaga. But I do care about them. Why?

1. I was on their campus at Spokane. 
2. I got to pat the giant bulldog statue out in front of their gym.  
3. Big underdogs. If it wasn't for their BB program, how many people would even recognize the name of the school?
4. Bing Crosby went there. His house is on campus and it has a museum to him in the student center. Been in them both. I'm one of only about 12 Bing Crosby fans in the world. Ba Ba Ba Boo. Bing Crosby for Minute Maid Orange Juice. Nobody except us twelve even knows what that means anymore.

Anyway. I care quite a bit for Gonzaga. With Oregon and Kentucky, its off the charts. The only two states I've ever lived in and we are both in the big time. Technically, all three are currently in the Final 6. We'll see what happens after tomorrow's games. I am allowing this evening to have unbridled joy and get my hopes way, way up. Tomorrow my hopes are going back down just to cushion me from the crushing sadness I would feel with a loss. I know how to handle it. I've been there before.
