Saturday

With nothing particular on my mind, I thought I would just review my day today. Here we go.

This morning I met with some guys that wanted to know some more about my trip to Israel. That turned out to be fun. There were five of us and we just talked for about an hour. None of them had ever been there, but they had some interesting insights. I got home about nine and its off to Jack in the Box for breakfast. Yes, turning into a great day.

I played my piano for a while. Then I thought I would work outside for an hour. Exactly an hour. I thought if I did that once in a while, maybe every day, I could accomplish a lot. I got out my electric trimmer and trimmed some branches. I lost power when I accidentally cut my extension cord with my trimmer. I wonder if that kind of thing is dangerous. For example - electrocution. Turns out its perfectly safe as I am still alive.

I went to the gym to run on the treadmill. I watched Gonzaga play the first half of their game on their built in TV. It makes for guilt free TV. And with sports you don't need the sound. In fact, its probably better.

I came home and watched half of Michael Collins, a Netflix movie. I finished a Dick Nixon book I was reading about the 1968 campaign. Also, we went to Rite Aid and I got a magazine on the Dead Sea Scrolls. I read almost the whole thing. I saw parts of the Dead Sea Scrolls on display in the Israel Museum, so it was fun reading more about it.

Finally, I wrote this while listening to the Big Bang Theory on TV.

This has been kind of like those people that use social media to tell people what they are up to throughout the day with the mistaken belief that people care and are just waiting to find out what lame thing you'll be up to next. I've put it all together in one long post making it even more boring. Don't worry, I won't do this again.
