Fantasy Baseball

I don't know that I've written about my fantasy baseball team. We're currently at 10 wins, 9 losses, and one tie. We're about as close to mediocrity as you can get. However, we are on the verge of making the playoffs. Its a ten team league and the top 4 get in. We're currently in fourth place and I think a win today would sew it up for us. However, we could end up with a tie for fourth in which case I have no idea what happens.

Each "game" lasts for a week. There are 10 categories and you try to win as many of those as you can. Categories are like home runs, rbi's, batting average, era, etc. Who ever wins the most categories gets a win for that week (also called a winning game). The current week (game) ends today. Right now I'm ahead in 7 behind in 2 and tied in 1. I should be able to bring it home. This morning I took a guy out of my line up who was listed as "questionable" for even playing today. He ended up getting in, and in his one at-bat, hit a grand slam home run. Arrrgh! The guy I replaced him with went 0 for 4 today. Oh well, you guess wrong sometimes.

My main man today is Rougned Odor - So far he is 3 for 3 with a home run and three runs batted in. He's been red hot lately, and despite the fact that I'm not exactly sure how to pronounce his name, I think he's great. He was in a major fight earlier in the year and was suspended for several games. I thought about dropping him then. I don't like fighters and he's no good to me if he isn't playing. But he's driving in runs now, so all is forgiven.

Update - Odor just struck out with two men on. You're a bum, Odor.
