Predictions

It's the day before the Super Bowl. Denver 20, Carolina 13. There's my pick. If I get this right, remember where you heard it first. If I don't, let us not mention it again. For a couple years, I made my Super Bowl prediction by playing the game on Madden Football. That did not turn out to be a good predictor. I might have picked the winner, but it probably wasn't by scores of 85 to 57 like you get in those games.

They're good defenses, so I'm figuring on several field goals. I'm also going with my heart and not my head. I like, but don't love Manning and I dislike, but don't hate Newton. I've read that a lot of people don't care for him and for the same reasons I have. Others, including himself, have come to his defense and claim its racism. They're wrong and dumb.

So my prediction may end up being wrong - way wrong. But here's another prediction I thought about. This year is supposed to have a movie, "Batman vs. Superman" (or maybe the other way around). Let me call that one right now. Superman!

I have a lot of confidence in this pick. Think about it. Superman can fly, he has superhuman strength. He is a super man.

What has Batman got. His costume makes him look like a bat. And he's got some gadgets - a nice car, the bat-a-rang, etc. Superman don't need no gadgets. Batman is Bruce Wayne in a costume. Granted, its a cool costume, but still... In fact, Batman vs. anyone is not going to be much of a contest. I would say he can take Aquaman, but that's about it.

It's not even going to be a fair fight. Maybe Superman will go easy on him for awhile. Otherwise, I see this being a pretty short movie. All I've got to do is find some sucker willing to take Batman.
