Chicago

I went to a bunch of concerts this summer. They were all outdoor ones. None were all that expensive, although all put together they were kind of expensive. But according one of the worst songs I ever heard, Baby I'm Worth It. I usually spend money on CD's, books, DVD's, and trips. With Spotify, I hardly ever buy CD's anymore. Bookstore are becoming non-existent, and most of the DVD's I like, others don't, so mine are usually pretty well marked down.

So here we go with a multi-blog concert review. First up is the group Chicago. They've been around a while. Some of the instrumentalists might be new, but the singers sounded like the originals. One's voice was not as strong as in the past. Another sounded just as good as the CD's, though (records at the time they were made).

They're kind of underrated I think. They've had a million hits and seemed to do them all at the concert. I kept track and I knew 20 of the 23 songs they did. Most impressive is how great they are as musicians. In terms of musicianship they were probably the best I saw of these concerts.

They did Another Rainy Day in New York City. That is a fun song. I like their song Harry Truman. They didn't do that one. My only disappointment.

When I'm all done, I give everyone a score. Chicago will score high in a number of areas. They lose a little in the fact that if I saw any of them away from a concert, I wouldn't recognize them. Regardless, it was a fun night.
