My lawn saga continues. I found a place that will order me a replacement for my lost dipstick. It only costs $3, but there is also, get this, a $6 charge for shipping and handling. They must have to handle it a lot. He was pretty sure it was the right one. Even if it is, I'm sure I'll still have issues. I started by putting gas in last week. I absent-mindedly put oil in the gas place. Not too much. I think I caught myself before I did too much damage. I pretty much drained it out, but its pretty gooey, so I don't know if that will come back to haunt me after I get my dipstick which may or may not fit.
This morning at 5:00 I saw a lunar eclipse. That was cool. I bought a pair of binoculars about a month ago and used them. I was going to get just one, but a pair seemed to be the same price so I went with that. (rimshot) This isn't a picture I took, but this is what it looked like. The Sun was just starting to light it up again,so it was dark red with the top being white. Depending on the Kentucky and the lawn outcomes go, this could be the highlight of the week.
