Reds Game

I went to a Reds Game on May 3rd. It was Star Wars weekend. Apparently May 4th is like "May the force be with you". May force = May 4th? It seems a stretch, but that's the idea. We did get free t-shirts. It had a picture of the Reds mascot along with CP30, Chewbacca, and WD-40, or whatever their names are. I'm not big into Star Wars, but it was kind of fun. A disturbing number came dressed in Star Wars outfits. There were several little kids in Darth Vader outfits. That's always adorable. When adults do it, its kind of creepy.

I read a thing in Entertainment Weekly that had a summary of each movie. I read it and that was great, because when I've seen those movies I've had no idea what's going on. Its just blah, blah, blah, explosion, blah, blah, blah, light saber fight, ... It said there is another Star Wars movie coming out. Thank goodness. Its about time. I've asked this question of Star War fans and never gotten a decent answer. Why did they do episode 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, in that order? The answer is usually something like they - just did, that's not something to worry about. What kind of answer is that? So I'm assuming the next episode is #7, but who knows?

Anyway the game was good. The Red hit the ball a ton an won easily. My favorite part is when the fans cheer for Jay Bruuuuuuuce. That's fun. I was disappointed Milwaukee's best player, Ryan Braun, wasn't playing due to injury. I was looking forward to booing him every time he came up. He's been suspended twice for steroids. I will resist the temptation to go off here on the travesty of the steroid era, how it ruined baseball, and ripped off all the clean athletes. Hopefully I'll see Milwaukee again and get the opportunity to boo him.
