Paul McCartney

I just decided a goal in life is to see Paul McCartney someday. I thought about it because I saw his new album (are they still called that?) at Wal-Mart. I didn't buy it because my cheapness kicked in. Maybe I'll get the courage next time I'm there. Anyway, it may be tough to see him, but I can try. He was on tour last summer. When I went from Kentucky to the west coast and back, his tour kept us on opposite coasts. When he was in the east, I was in the west and vice-versa. It's like the fates were against me.

A few years ago I had a chance to see him. He was in San Francisco. The tickets I found on-line said something like, "Caution, these seats have a severe visual obstruction." I could see myself seated in front of a brick wall or something. Also, I had just gotten back from a major trip somewhere. Anyway, I passed on it. Now I think I should have taken it. After all, I could have gotten up and walked around and seen him some, at least.

Time may be running out for me. I know he isn't going to be touring forever. I saw him a while ago on Jimmy Fallon and he still looks good. If I get desperate I would even settle for Ringo, but at this point I'm still going for Paul.
