A couple of months ago I bought a book called "Rules of Thumb". It is fun and filled with helpful, interesting facts. I thought I would share some. These are just a few of hundreds in the book.
1.If you're responsible and hold a steady job, you should be able to afford a mortgage that is three times your annual income.
2. Never sign up for car payments that are more than 10 percent of your monthly income.
3. A moderately experienced Scrabble player should average at least 20 points per word.
4. If there are more than three cars in line ahead of you at a drive-thru window, it'll be faster to get out of the car and go inside.
5. Zig zag to outrun a crocodile.
6. It takes ten years to recover from serious use of LSD.
7. The ideal viewing distance is two and a half times the diagonal width of your television screen.
8. Human blood volume is equal to about a case of beer.
Interesting, right? You're welcome.
